Kara Childers

Kara Childers, Research Scientist, joined the St. John’s Medical Research Institute in 2009. She started working on St. John’s research projects while still an undergraduate student at Missouri State University through an affiliate program with Jordan Valley Innovation Center- Center for Biomedical and Life Sciences. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, minor in chemistry in 2008 and will receive a Master of Natural and Applied Science degree in December 2009. Childers’s research has spanned medical device development and drug reformulation projects with a special emphasis in projects dealing with microbiological concerns.
