Keela Davis
Keela Davis joined St. John’s Medical Research Institute in 2007. She is currently serving as the Technical Research Director where she coordinates, oversees, facilitates, writes grants, and manages resources for research and development of projects within the Research Institute encompassing design, development, testing, and preparation for manufacturing of medical devices as well as serving as a scientist for many of the projects. Projects consist of a wide range of devices in any medical specialty supported by St. John’s.
Keela received a Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering Physics with Minors in Chemistry and Mathematics receiving Honors as a Missouri State University Presidential Scholar and a Master’s of Natural and Applied Science in Biology and Chemistry from Missouri State University. Keela worked for Missouri State University in the Center for Applied Science and Engineering and the Center for Biomedical Life Sciences at Jordan Valley Innovation Center from 2002-2008 as an Undergraduate student, Graduate Student, Research Assistant, Junior and Senior Research Scientist.
Keela is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Engineering Management where her research focuses on the process of product development in relation to regulatory agencies and required testing to get products to market.
